Sara Ali Khan: I remember her like anybody in this country, which is just the epitome of grace, beauty. And I don’t think we have seen a great artist than her, bitter sweet things to say but I am a die-hard Sridevi fan.

Taapsee Pannu: Right from Mr. India to Chaalbaaz, I will always remember just one name that’s irreplaceable and I don’t think anyone can fill that space up ever.

Raveena Tandon: This is a very long answer, because I have done three wonderful films with her and she was a friend of mine, very dear to me. This is not something that I can tell you in one line.

Manushi Chillar: I remember that the first movie that I saw of Sridevi, I think she is a legend and she still lives within all of us. She has set a benchmark for all of us and what she has achieved is actually made everything so much more worthwhile and worth achieving within the industry and she is beautiful. She established herself in a time when there weren’t many superstars…She opened the doors for women, she is an icon and she always will be.

Ankita Lokhande: I remember I was shooting for Manikarnika, last year when I got to know about it. It’s really sad. I don’t even want to talk about it. But I really hope, her family stays happy forever.

Zareen Khan: I don’t know where I should start from. I remember, my mom was a huge fan of Sridevi and while I was growing up I saw, my mom used to dress up like her in georgette sarees like she wore in Chandni.

Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Total Dhamaal director Indra Kumar also spoke about the late superstar to ZoomTV. Sharing her memories Sonam said, “I think my favourite film of hers is Mr. India. And my childhood memory of hers is her living with me in my house for many many years. Calling Sridevi an absolute style icon, Jacqueline said, “I think Sridevi is the eternal style icon because she was I think able to do traditional and modern so well and western so well. And I think she will be the eternal style icon because of the saree she wore in Mr India for I Love You in that song, it's eternal, and it’s iconic."

While Total Dhamaal director, Indra Kumar said, “My interaction with her was through my friend Boney Kapoor. We never did a film together. Though we met many times and discussed [scripts] but nothing materialised. I saw the last film of hers called Mom. I loved the film and called her up and spoke to her for 15 minutes to tell her how marvellously she had performed in certain scenes of that film. That was my last conversation with her. Her untimely death was tragic. Her loss is irreplaceable.” Sridevi will always be alive in our memories. May her soul rest in peace.
